Tinkering with Tech: conductive thread

The last session of CMD<create>CTRL before the summer break offered the chance to sew a circuit with conductive thread. Replacing wires with conductive thread opens up endless possibilties for ‘wearables’ – incorporating LEDs and programmable neopixels into garments with control devices such as Adafruit’s “flora” and “gemma” (here) or Redfern’s “crumble controller” (here)

Monday’s session focused on stitching a circuit with two LEDs, a coin-cell battery and a switch connected by conductive thread.
